The Empowering Neurologist – David Perlmutter, MD, and Suzy Amis Cameron

The plant-based diet is gaining more and more attention these days, and with good reason. It’s clear that less reliance on animal derived food will have a positive environmental impact. In addition, there is compelling evidence that favoring a more plant-based diet may well provide significant health benefits.

Our guest on this episode of The Empowering Neurologist is Suzy Amis Cameron. She is the author of a very important book, The OMD Plan, that advocates that at least one meal each day should be derived entirely from plant-based sources.

Suzy is a noted environmental advocate, former actress and model, mom of five and new grandma of one. In addition to founding MUSE School with her sister, a topic we explore in some detail, she has founded a number of plant-based focused organizations, including Cameron Family Farms (together with her husband, film director James Cameron), Plant Power Task Force, Verdient, and Red Carpet Green Dress.

I hope you enjoy this interview and consider reading her very compelling book.
