Both of my daughters were very sick with autoimmune diseases and food allergies. One is 12 and the other 22. Before they became ill, they were incredibly active, engaged in regular exercise and athletics. Things quickly took a turn for the worse once my daughters started to get sick. My older daughter was in and out of the hospital taking morphine and pain killers that doctors had prescribed for her abdominal pain.

We took gluten out of their diets because we suspected they were having allergic reactions to it. Once we removed gluten both girls improved greatly. It is amazing how many years they suffered needlessly. My point is: these are kids. Gluten is hurting our kids. To me that is unacceptable. Both myself and husband just went gluten-free too, my son will be next. In the past few weeks my Vitamin D and iron levels have gone up, I have energy and I have lost weight. It has made a huge difference in my life. The biggest improvement is that I don’t crave bread any more. I actually went through withdrawal the first few days. I never would have believed any of this if I hadn’t personally seen the difference in my family. All I can say for the non-believers is that you should just try it. You will definitely notice a difference.
