Growing Young – Where We Are and Where We’re Going
Would you like to live to be 200? While this may seem fanciful, we are now getting glimpses of how this may actually come about. And shy of that goal, we should explore what is available to us today that may well impact not only our lifespans, but perhaps more importantly, our healthspans, meaning how long we remain healthy and engaged in this wonderful gift of life.
As our guest describes, we should consider the actions we can take today as being a “longevity bridge”, allowing us to be in position to take advantage of the incredible emerging technologies in this field as they appear in the years to come.
Our guest today is Sergey Young, author of the new book The Science and Technology of Growing Young. Sergey is a longevity investor and visionary with a mission to extend the healthy lifespans of 1 billion people. He is the founder of the $100M Longevity Vision Fund—one of the few funds specializing exclusively in longevity and helping to accelerate longevity breakthroughs. In addition, Sergey is a development sponsor of Age Reversal XPRIZE, a global initiative designed to cure aging and age-related diseases.
“My goal is to live to 200—and to find an affordable way for everyone else to do the same. We are on the brink of a Longevity Revolution, with new scientific discoveries and exciting technological advances now making it possible to reverse aging and treat previously incurable diseases.”
