Baked Grapefruit with Granola Crunch Topping


½ grapefruit

1 Tablespoon nuts or seeds of choice (unsalted)

1 Tablespoon hemp hearts (hulled hemp seeds)

1 Tablespoon almond butter (no sugar added)

1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon


Preheat oven to 375F and line a small cookie sheet with foil.

Score along the grapefruit sections with a paring knife to loosen the flesh, then place grapefruit half on baking pan.

Sprinkle grapefruit with cinnamon and set aside.

In a small bowl, combine seeds/nuts, hemp hearts and almond butter; stir until smooth, then spread on top of grapefruit.

Bake 8-10 minutes, then transfer to a plate and serve.
