Country Style Cream Gravy


  • 2 cups hot liquid (bone broth chicken or beef) or just hot water
  • 1/2 cup unsalted roasted cashews
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 to 2 tbsp arrowroot powder (1 tbsp for thinner, 2 tbsp for thicker)
  • Salt & pepper to taste


Place all ingredients in high speed blender and blend on high 2-3 minutes. Pour into a saucepan and cook on medium to medium-high heat until thickened, about 3 to 5 minutes stirring constantly.

Remove, cool, and store/serve.
